International Circular Business Summit
Under the auspices of the European Union and the initiative of CENN, the first international circular business summit was held in Georgia on World Environment Day, bringing together about 100 representatives from more than 60 organizations.
The main goal of the summit was to discuss the main challenges and opportunities of the transition to a circular economy in the country, as well as to promote the development of a sustainable and low-carbon economy. A business exhibition was also held as part of the event, where 23 green businesses and enterprises were presented, which introduced their innovative and circular approaches to the attendees.
The event was attended by Shorena Uzunadze, Director of the Batumi Medical Academy. The summit was an important platform for representatives of different sectors to share experiences, discuss sustainable development issues and strengthen cooperation in the direction of environmental protection and green economy.
The summit was held with the funding of the European Union and the organization of CENN.
